When I was young and living in Southern California, I told
my dad I was going to marry a farmer and have lots of animals. I knew the asphalt life was not for me. I wanted to live in the country.
My family moved back to Utah a few years later. I met the man of my dreams and married. He wasn’t a farmer but knew a bit about
horses. That was good enough for me. After almost 30 years of marriage, I’m
finally living the dream. My little
hobby farm is home to Llamas, miniature goats, miniature horses, a pony, lots
of dogs and a few cats.
I foster for a local rescue and have adopted three of the
cute fluffy fosters. I currently am
fostering an adorable little dog named Lea.
She makes the 8th dog in the family.
The country life allows me to spend a lot of time
outdoors. I garden, read under my
awesome Walnut tree and enjoy campfires right in my own backyard.
I have four children who have grown and left home. They have blessed us with 3 granddaughters
and 3 grandsons with another grandchild due in October. My life is full!
I try to make everyday matter and challenge myself when life
gets too easy. Staying busy is a great
cure for the blues and you can accomplish anything if you make and keep your
commitment! Life is too short for
anything less.
